Kaydence is in her third year with Memorial Theatre, and she is a senior. Kaydence loves working in the shop and in the sound booth. She most recently served as the Stage Manager of Abigail/1702. This is her first year to serve on the MTC Board.

Viridiana Nunez - or Viri as she is usually called - has done theater since fifth grade. She has been in several shows such as The Book of Will, The Crucible, Treasure Island,, Peter/Wendy, and others. Viri was most recently seen as Ann Foster in Abigail/1702. She has experience in all aspects of technical and acting. She started stage managing during her eighth grade year for an OAP production of Dearly Departed.. She received the award for Best Technician, and first place medals for Prose and Poetry. When she is not working in theater she tends to draw in her free time, and do art projects. Her poster design for Theatre Safety won at TSA Nationals. Currently she is working toward her Associate’s Degree at Lee College through Goose Creek Memorial High School. Viri is a 3-year member of the MTC Board.

Sofia has been in theatre for 5 years. She’s been in Abigail/1702, The Book of Will, Treasure Island, SpongeBob: The Musical, and more. Her most recent role was Margaret Hale in Abigail/1702. She was awarded All-Star Crew at the UIL District Contest for her stage management. Sofia is a senior, and she’s really in to retro technology. Sofia is a new member of the MTC Board.

Hunter has been active in theatre for over 6 years. He started acting at Highlands Jr. High, and he has been in over 12 shows since he began. He was most recently seen as John in Abigail/1702. This is his third year on production team and his first as a Board member. He was recently recognized as the Texas Thespian of the Month by Texas Thespians. He is also a playwright and filmmaker with hopes to pursue performance art after graduation.

RUBEN FERNANDEZ - (he/him) - JR - SCENIC HEAD / BOARD MEMBER

Ruben is a junior, and this is his first year on production team. This is his first year as a Board member. During his time with MTC, Ruben has acted in The Book of Will, Treasure Island, The SpongeBob Musical, Peter/Wendy, and most recently, as the Man in Gray, Abigail/1702. He was awarded Best Actor at the OAP District Competition in 2022.

.Kaylee has been doing theatre since 6th grade, including roles in Treasure Island and more. Kaylee made it to regionals her freshman year for UIL poetry. She is also a Track athlete who made it to state for AAU in the summer of 2022 and to area for UIL track. Kaylee also is an International Thespian Society National Qualifier in Solo Acting. She was most recently seen as the title character in Abigail/1702.

JUAN HUERTA - (he/him) - SR - COSTUME HEAD
Juan is a first-year production team member. He is actively involved in each production, and has been both an actor and a technician. Last year Juan was a UIL Theatrical Design State Qualifier in Costume Design. He plans to major in theatre with an emphasis in costuming. He will be Schroeder in this fall's production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

HOUSE MANAGER & SOCIAL OFFICER Vida is a first year production team member. She has been an active member of MTC for the last 3 years, and has participated in both acting and technical roles. She will be seen this fall as Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

Roslyn Eaton - (she/her) - Sr - Paint Head
Roslyn is an actor and technician. She is a first-year production team member. Roslyn will be starring as Charlie Brown in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.

EVAN ANDERSON - (he/him) - JR -
LIGHTING HEAD Evan Anderson (he/him) is a sophmore and is the lighting head for the production team. This will be his third year doing theater with MTC and his third year in the production team. A fun fact about him is he helped in the making of the fun loving quiet coyote.

Memorial Theatre’s homepage! Where your child will get never-ending opportunities of leadership. Whether it be on or offstage, students are allowed opportunities to act, direct, playwright, stage manage, tech, and design. Memorial Theatre provides teens with college/career guidance with our FAFSA Workshops and countless scholarship meetings. Students will benefit from our trips to the Alley Theatre and other professional establishments preparing them for real world experiences. Everyone that joins our department will be in a family like atmosphere with unconditional love. |
