Gina Martin has 20+ years of teaching/directing experience. She has been performing since she was 2 when her dad brought her onstage to sing with him. Mrs. Martin has done educational and community theatre and music, as well as performing professionally as a singer, actor, stage manager, and director. She is also a published writer. She loves singing, reading, watching movies, and taking road trips with her family, especially to Walt Disney World. She is always excited to welcome students into her classroom and into her world. Mrs. Martin directs the UIL One Act Play every year along with various other performances throughout the fall and spring.
mRs. Peyton wood-SMITH (SHE/HER), technical/Assistant directorPeyton Wood-Smith is a graduate of Baylor University and has been with MTC since Fall '21. She previously worked at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival and Shakespeare Dallas. She is also a fan of Disney. Mrs. Wood-Smith loves working with her students to increase their knowledge and skills as technicians and as people. She is also the primary JV director and the Improv team sponsor.
